Gladys

Gladys started as the baby minder at the School in April 2016. Although she only has level 1 diploma in ECD, she is doing a great job and fits perfectly into the Vhutshilo family.

She applied for the job because she wanted to give vulnerable children a good future. She sees the children struggling with all kinds of problems and wants to keep them healthy and away from the street. She mostly works with the babies and toddlers. She enjoys playing with them, teaching them to go to the toilet, to eat by themselves, to walk and to say a few words in English and Tshivenda. Her favourite part of the day is when she can play outdoors with the children.

Gladys has a one year old child. Her motto is “this is Vhutshilo Mountain school, we take care of vulnerable children and orphans and we LOVE them.”
